In this article, we will talk about why a customer base is so important and some ways you could form it and use it to create campaigns.
To demonstrate by analogy first, my wife is painting the basement. She can either prime the dark walls first, then paint 1 coat, maybe 2 coats.
Or, she can buy a paint that has a primer in it and paint 1 coat.
Which is easier? 2nd, right? Ok, why? Because it is less steps, less effort, and maybe less cost to generate the same result.
So, it takes a lot of time and effort to create valuable content, post it on all of your social media (I can help you with that in a sec), and see who ‘bites’ and why. No matter what, that will have to happen in selling online or promoting affiliates online. But, what if you could create a base of customers that you KNEW were already interested in what you had to say?
I see it all of the time in my “day job” as a dentist. A lot of people hate, hate, HATE going to the dentist. But, once you work on them, no matter how much they hate coming, … they come back! Why? Because they are familiar with you and don’t want to start all over with another stranger (oh, and I am told that I give pretty good injections, heh).
