I went ahead and looked up the story and yes, it is a bit disturbing, LOL. But, I see now where all of these Revolution, Pigs, Dogs, and Mill references are coming from.

I forget where I read it, but either their whitepaper or their website has a lot of references to rising up against the norm, which I take to mean the rest of DeFi. They even have a horse in the background of one of the pages holding the rifle.

And, with the PIGS token holders becoming the governance for Level 2 Animal.Farm and the DOGS token being the executive arm, or where you would actually earn from in farms, it gets interesting.

As you said, I hope that’s where it ends. In the story, the Horse and Pigs become more and more like humans. Relative to DeFi, the humans would be DeFi. So, hopefully and analogous to, these DRIP/REV/DOG farms DO NOT also evolve into what the rest of DeFi is.

It would be preferable if it occurs in reverse — that the rest of DeFi take pointers from a sustainable passive income model, and implement them in their own protocols.

Thank you for taking the time to respond and thank you for reading! :D
