The Upromise Mastercard from Barclays can be linked to a qualified 529 plan. Rewards earned can be forwarded to the 529 plan. Cash back rewards are earned at a rate of 1.529% (clever) if linked, and 1.25% if not linked. I’ll include a link below with a sign-up bonus for new accounts. But first, let’s look at how the card works.

Although these returns pale in comparison to the crypto staking returns I’m accustomed to, free money is free money, right? Any little bit can continue to compound over the years.
