Staking on drip.community pays a consistent 1% daily on your deposited balance. Even if you only have 1 DRIP in there — if you were to only compound it every day, you will eventually reach the maximum DRIP deposit of 27,397 in about 3 years … at today’s DRIP price of $133, that’s over $13 million dollars! (depositing any more than 27,397 DRIP will not be useful because there is a max payout of 365% of your deposit, or 100,000 DRIP, per wallet).
Before I go on, I get a lot of questions about these numbers.
The max payout per DRIP wallet is 100,000 DRIP, not dollars. This is done to prevent exponential compounding from draining the Faucet contract. The Faucet contract is sustainable because 10% is added from our “taxes”, but only 1% is paid out every day.
100,000 DRIP is 365% of 27,397.27 deposit amount.
100 as a percent is 1. Therefore, 365 as a percent is 3.65.
