| If ya didn’t know, the stablecoin BUSD is being discontinued. Paxos and Binance will terminate support for it in February 2024, and push a new stablecoin called FDUSD. For BSC’s Animal Farm yield aggregation platform, this is a big deal because its Pig Pen governance was paying stakers in BUSD. Now what? Well, it’s time to vote so let’s look at our choices!

Ok. So what’s the scoop on BUSD. Heavy regulation pressure in the U.S. is making Binance executives drop like flies. Related to this, is the accusation that BUSD was an unregulated security. To avoid further pressure, Binance is delisting it. They claim it was fully collateralized with cash or cash derivatives, so hopefully no depegging dilemmas occur.
