Welcome to Day 2 of Animal Farm being paused and I don’t know what else to do, LOL. So, in my previous article, Animal Farm Piggy Bank Paused … Let’s Look At DRIP Roadmap!, I mentioned that we can use this time to look a little closer at DRIP’s confirmed and un-confirmed Roadmap to see what’s in store for DRIP.
In this article, let’s talk a little about an un-confirmed DRIP-based decentralized exchange or DEX. I believe this would fit in well with its new, upgraded User-Interface (UI). I think that for DRIP to implement this, they will need to enable the Chainlink price feed oracle.
An oracle is almost like a hub. This can occur on the blockchain or off the blockchain. I wrote an article a while ago about this called Arbitrum and The Rise of Chainlink. The trend is for these external nodes to assemble and contribute their value to the Chainlink hub off chain. The smart contract then interprets the data and what parameters had influenced it to arrive at a consensus of what the true value is based on the contributions from all of the nodes. The smart contract then transfers this onto a blockchain for use.
