I am a true believer in Income Investing — choosing securities that pay cash that can be used or compounded, but to get a great mix of expanding net worth, sprinkling in a batch of high Growth ETFs with an average annual return of 63% (compared to SPY’s 34.26% or QQQ’s 38.02%) is a nice ego boost in times like these.
I mean, think about it, many people these days are maxed on their credit cards, living paycheck to paycheck, and unable to save a dime towards savings or retirement. It’s sad, really. But, if you’re reading this, then at least you have a winner’s mindset to either change your ways or add to an existing portfolio.
In this article, I used ETF.com to screen for ETFs that had >20% 3-month returns and >50% 1-year returns, then narrowed those down to 5 tickers to consider for any investment portfolio. In my opinion, a good portfolio should include a mix of income tickers, growth, bonds, broad markets, and cash equivalents.
